How much does CODEplan cost?
It costs £135 plus VAT to register each CODEplan facility and goodwill owning dentist. If you are planning a private conversion the conversion mailing, printed brochure, application forms and all conversion consultancy and training is free. There is a fixed low administration charge to include all CODEplan services - just £1.20 per month per adult and 60p per child with no added tax. Optional dental accident, out of hours and emergency insurance is 97p per patient per month*. If you allow young children to be on a plan for no fee (under 5, so long as the parents join) there will be no administration charge for them whilst they are free. If you are setting up a 'trickle feed plan' The cost for printing 2500 plan brochures and 2500 patient application forms is £500.

CODEplan dentists are entitled to free CODE membership with over 350 patients, free Clinical Governance made Simple subscription with 500 patients and consultancy on developing private practice 1,000 patients. All CODEplan members benefit from the support of the CODE team and the services of CODEplan Marketing Solutions with 5% discount.

The patient pays CODEplan a £10 initial registration fee for adults, £5 for fee paying children and a £4 charge to reinstate a cancelled direct debit. Plan members must give three months notice of cancellation.

Transferring from another plan provider
Even though our dental plan practices are supported by CODE, our adminstration fees are some of the lowest in the industry. At £1.20 per month you can save £4 against the other major dental plan companies for small numbers of patients and £2-3 for medium numbers. That's why so many dentists switch to CODE dental plans to save money and brand the plan to their own practice.
